What is the statute of limitations?

The statute of limitations is the maximum period of time allowed by law for a person to take legal action after an event has occurred.

In the case of DWT refunds, it refers to the period during which you can file a claim for a refund.

For example, in Switzerland, the statute of limitations allows for claims within the current calendar year and the three previous years.
